CSUB Observe the Moon night

Show time for those who are setting up telescopes is 5:00 pm. If you do not have a telescope and just wish to participate, show time is 6:00 pm. Directions: Turning south off Stockdale, turn LEFT into the 2nd entrance of the first parking lot (J) you come to. There should be a “special event” sign at the entrance. Our people should identify themselves as KAS members so that the parking lot attendant will let us go through the barrier to park next to the viewing site. I will be there early (about 4:45pm) and help out if there’s any confusion. I’ve selected a viewing area that includes both pavement and grass with comparable views of the sky. Each member can decide where to set up. The grassy area might be slightly more isolated from unavoidable light pollution. If anyone has any last-minute issues, you may call me at 661-477-0767.
